Our faculty is home to five fields of study, resulting in an offer of more than 20 degree programs. In addition to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs with a focus on science, we also offer a complete teacher training program (Bachelor\/Master of Education) in physics, mathematics, and computer science. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As early as 3 weeks before the official start of the lectures, important events take place for all first-year students at our faculty. These are intended to make it easier to for new students to begin their program of study. In addition to preparing you for the topics of the introductory lectures, you will get to know your future fellow students, as well as the student council, which offers advice and assistance and will be an important contact point for you during your program of study. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-heading>\n\n\n\n

    The bridging courses in mathematics<\/strong> make it easier for you to transition between school mathematics and university mathematics and prepare you for the first semester.     The last week before the start of lectures is the university-wide introduction week<\/strong>, during which the first-year students are welcomed to their degree program. During this week, you will learn everything you need to know for your program of study and get to know your lecturers.
